MEMORIAL BENCH
Ocean Grove is a beautiful seaside environment, and it is our desire that the Memorial Benches both honor those for whom they were purchased as well as contribute to the aesthetic beauty of the boardwalk. In order to request a memorial bench in honor or memory of a loved one, please complete the Memorial Bench application, available at the bottom of this page.
A new Memorial Bench can be secured for a $700.00 contribution, and an Auditorium Square bench can be secured for a $1,000.00 contribution. OGCMA will purchase, install, service and maintain the bench for seven years. At the end of the seven years the bench will be removed and the plaque sent to the donor with an option to purchase a new bench for an additional seven years at the prevailing rate.
There will be one plaque per bench, and all-wording must be consistent with the Mission Statement of the OGCMA stated below. In the event that the plaque is damaged or stolen, the OGCMA will replace it once at our expense. Additional loss or damage to the plaque will be the responsibility of the donor.
