Message from the President

As you scroll through the pages of our website, you'll see some of the reasons that

    Ocean Grove is a special place. Whether you're looking for great preaching and Bible
    Hour teaching or organ recitals and Saturday night entertainment, there's always
    something going on in God's Square Mile at the Jersey Shore. You can relax on
    the beach, stroll the boardwalk, or sing in the choir.

    For those who are a bit younger, there is an unrivaled mix of children's and youth
    activities starting at 9am each weekday morning and continuing with events for teens
    into the evening.

But the activities tell just part of the story. Ocean Grove was founded in a prayer

meeting on July 31, 1869 and the land was set aside for the perpetual worship of
Jesus Christ. The mission of the Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association is to provide

opportunities for spiritual birth, growth, and renewal in a Christian seaside setting.

It is the ministry focus and the firm foundation of Christ that makes Ocean Grove
unique. Every summer since 1869, special memories have been created in Ocean

Grove as old friendships are renewed, new friendships are created, and friends

sharing a season grow closer to their Lord and Savior.
