Pilot Parking Permit Program
The Neptune Township workshop to discuss the Pilot Parking Permit Program, originally scheduled for November 27th, was cancelled due to overcrowding. It has been rescheduled for 6 PM Monday, December 18th in the Neptune High School Performing Arts Center on Neptune Blvd.
Though we acknowledge there are indeed parking problems in Ocean Grove during the summer months, the Camp Meeting firmly believes that the current proposal will have negative impacts on tourism, businesses, beach attendance, program attendance, seasonal resident parking and even year-round resident parking.
If your schedule permits your attendance, please come to the December 18th meeting and express your concerns. Furthermore, it is not too late to call or email the Neptune Township Committee members and public officials in support of the CMA position.

We have been looking at the life of Job and how he trusted God in the midst of loss. There are four things we are learning from Job that we can do when we are in the middle of a crisis.
First we worship God by telling God how we feel. Second we worship God and praise Him in spite of the circumstances. And third, we ask God for strength and help.
When your heart is breaking and when you’re confused and when you’re angry because of a tragedy, you don’t turn away from God. You turn toward God. When you don’t understand the circumstance you don’t run from God. You run to Him. And you ask Him for strength because He’s got the strength that you need.
In Psalm 105:4 we read “Look to the Lord for strength.” Job said, “God is the real source of wisdom and strength.” Job 12:13
Psalm 3:5 “I can lie down and go to sleep and I can wake up again because the Lord gives me strength.”
The first sign of stress in a tragedy is you can’t get to sleep. When you’re under stress your mind won’t stop. You can’t turn it off. You toss and turn. You can’t stop thinking about it. You grieve. You’re angry. You’re upset. And you can’t get any sleep. And God says, “You know why? Because you’re not trusting in My strength.” He says, “I'll give you the strength to get a good night’s rest if you’ll just trust Me.”
Some of you are not sleeping well, because the stress, the strain, the tension in your life keeps you awake at night and you just can’t get a good night’s sleep. The reason why is you’re trying to be God. You’re trying to handle this problem on your own. You haven’t trusted God with it. You haven’t called for His strength and help. You’re trying to figure it out yourself. You haven’t released it.
Worrying is assuming responsibility that God never intended for me to have.
You need to relax and say, “God, I’m going to trust You to give me Your strength and Your help.” And He can give you that good night’s rest.
Psalm 37:39 says
“The Lord saves good people and He is their strength in times of trouble.”
God is waiting to strengthen you.
Where do I get it? Where do I get the power to handle the crises of life? My problems, the national problems, the tragedy we’re facing as a nation. Where do I get that strength? There’s only one place — worship.
When you focus on God — that’s what worship is — it’s like plugging into the power source. That power, God's power, can flow into your life as you worship Him. As you pray, as you talk to Him, as you praise Him, as you think about Him. It all comes from worship.
The psalmist wrote in Psalm 63:2,
“Here I am in the place of worship, eyes open, drinking in Your strength and glory.”
It comes from focusing on God.
Would you like strength in your life?
Take a moment and bow your head and ask God for strength.
