Performing Arts Ministry
Welcome to Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association’s Performing Arts Ministry for children and youth! Here, creativity becomes a spiritual journey. Whether stepping on stage for the first time or returning for another joyful season, your child’s experience is part of a broader ministry designed to nurture hearts, grow faith, and reflect Christ’s light in every rehearsal and performance.
The mission of the Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association, rooted in Wesleyan-Holiness theological heritage, is to provide opportunities for spiritual birth, growth, and renewal through worship, educational, cultural, and recreational programs for persons of all ages in a Christian seaside setting.
The participation form will become available on May 1, 2026.
Small Beginnings
Ages 4 – 7 (Must be 4 by 7/1/26)
”Small Beginnings” is a performing arts learning opportunity that will be available to children during the 2026 Thornley Chapel program. Thornley Chapel runs from 9-10:45 AM Monday - Friday.
“Small Beginnings” runs from 10 to 10:45 AM Monday - Friday.
Small Beginnings Performance date for 2026 will be July 25 at 10:30 AM in the Youth Temple
Children’s Show
“Yellow Brick Road”
Ages 8 – 15 (Must be 8 by 7/1/26)
Explore acting, singing, and dancing skills, learn and grow as a performer, and glorify God through the arts.
2026 rehearsal dates begin June 23
(Pre-audition rehearsals will occur on June 23, 24, 25
and auditions on June 29 & 30)
Rehearsals Monday – Friday
10:15 AM – 12:15 PM
Performance Dates are August 18, 19, 20, and 21, 2026 at 7:30 PM in the Youth Temple
Practice days are dependent on rehearsal schedule.
