Programming starts Monday, June 24, and ends Friday, August 26, 2024.



 All classes are for adults 18 and older.  Must register and pay for classes before attending.  All class instructors are certified or licensed in their respective group fitness and hold a current CPR certification. Hand weights are not provided but you are welcomed to bring your own if you want.  
Exercise mats are not provided.

Outdoor classes are weather dependent.
Senior Saturday Program is specially designed for adults 60+ regardless of your fitness level.

Class Descriptions


Pilates

Mat-based Pilates class focuses on strength, stability, posture, proper breath control, and flexibility. Each class will work to balance all muscle groups’ strength and flexibility, with an emphasis on challenging the core muscles with each movement. Classes will be taught using slow, controlled movements. Modifications are suggested for beginners or for those with physical limitations. Mat Pilates is a challenging yet safe method to lengthen and sculpt your body and to feel increased agility in your everyday movements. Please bring an exercise mat and a water bottle. Wear appropriate exercise clothing and non-slip socks if you like to take your shoes off.

Zumba with Sherry — Pure Intensity Dance

It won’t feel like you're working out, but you will get sweaty.   Lose yourself in the upbeat Christian music and find yourself in amazing shape at this dance style fitness class. Our high energy instructors will start your feet moving to the rhythm so you can get into great shape and have fun doing it.  This class is for men and women of all ages who aren’t afraid to dance like nobody's watching.  Taught by a Licensed Zumba Instructor.

Please wear appropriate footwear and exercise clothing,
bring a water bottle for hydration and an attitude of fun.

HIIT

HIIT, or high-intensity interval training, is a training technique in which you go all in and give it one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time.  This class is designed for men and women who want cardio+body weight training to get in shape and feel great.  

Please wear appropriate footwear, bring hand weights if you want to use them, a exercise mat or beach towel,
a water bottle and a great attitude.

Christian Yoga

This class focuses on the balanced integration of the whole person — mind, body, and spirit centered on Christ/Jesus, and created in the image of God. Poses and posture flows increase strength, range of motion, balance and flexibility of the body, with attention to breathing, bringing a sense of calm.  Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned yoga addict you will enjoy the fellowship and physical benefits of this class.

Please bring an exercise mat. Wear appropriate exercise clothing,
a water bottle and non-slip socks if you like to take your shoes off.

Senior Saturday Fitness Classes

Silver Fitness

Designed to increase muscular strength and endurance, improve agility and coordination, and enhance functional capacities and overall fitness. This class includes light cardio and focuses on strengthening muscles and increasing range of movement for daily life activities. Participants can use full water bottles as small hand-held weights, resistance bands and a soft 9-inch balls are provided. Often a chair is used for seated exercises or standing support. This program is for our 60 and older seniors. 

Please wear appropriate footwear and exercise clothing. Bring a water bottle for hydration and get ready to feel stronger.

Silver Stretch (Senior Saturday fitness program)

This fun class with your peers is designed to increase flexibility, decrease joint stiffness, focus on core strength for balance, increase range of motion, improve mental clarity, and enjoy stress reduction. Modifications allow for this stretch class to be done from a chair to accommodate a variety of fitness levels.  This class is for men and women, 60+ who love feeling fit and want to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Please wear appropriate footwear, clothing you can stretch in, a willing attitude and bring a water bottle.
