Scam alert for crafters!

This is a juried show — all participants have to go through the application process and be accepted, so vendor spaces are not transferrable between crafters. No one except our coordinator at giantcraftshow@oceangrove.org can sell you a space. If someone claims to be a crafter who wants to sell you the use of their space at this show, they're trying to scam you.

Some scammers may even try to claim to be the show's sponsors. Please note carefully where information is coming from. Information on the Ocean Grove Giant Craft Show will be shared officially on this page, via e-mail directly from the Camp Meeting Association and by the Show's official accounts on social media.

How can you know if a show is real? Our annual craft show is held in June of each year. Similar vendor events in Ocean Grove, New Jersey, are managed and recruited by the Ocean Grove Area Chamber of Commerce, oceangrovenj.com and St. Paul’s Ocean Grove Church, oceangrove.church.

Please don't be misled by scammers. For the June 15th Ocean Grove Giant Craft Show,

  • Be careful to only communicate with the Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association when booking vendor spaces. Don't pay for space at an "event" not listed on our official website.
  • Do not contact e-mail addresses, social media accounts or phone numbers posted in Facebook or Instagram comments by third parties.

Admission Policies for Crafters & Food Vendor

This is a juried craft show. Manufactured goods and items are not permitted.
All crafts must be 100% handmade to qualify for acceptance.

  • ALL VENDORS (returning and new) must complete the online application and upload a minimum of 4 clear and up-close photos of your handcrafted items displaying in detail the artist’s original work and crafting process. Photos may not be submitted separately, they must be included with your application.

The photos must represent ALL of the items to be sold.

Manufactured items are prohibited, including manufactured goods mixed with handmade items. If we find items that clearly do not match your material types shown in the pictures, you will be required to leave the craft show that morning, forfeiting your fee and space. Additional photos and information may be requested if questions or concerns arise regarding your submission.

Applications that do not have accompanying photos will automatically be rejected.

  • Vendors who are selling food or drink for immediate consumption MUST register as a food vendor. For example, beverages, sandwiches, hot items — anything edible not packaged as a craft or gift — require registration as a food vendor, not as a crafter. No exceptions will be made.

Applications made as a crafter that should be made as a food vendor will be rejected.

Crafters who attempt to sell food or drinks for immediate consumption on the day of the event will be ejected.

Return to this page after noon on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 for a link to the application.

Approved Vendor - Next Steps

Once your application has been reviewed and accepted, you will receive an email with a link to select and pay for your vendor location spot. If your application was not accepted you will not receive a follow up email.

Selecting My Vendor Location

For several years, the craft show committee was responsible for vendor space assignments. Vendors now are able to select their preferred location as part of the registration and payment process.

There are (10) VENDOR types available for crafters to select. Vendors should select the type that closely matches the art/craft being sold. Each vendor spot on the craft show map is colored coded to reflect the vendor type.

FOOD TRUCKS and FOOD VENDORS: All food vendors should select the areas that are specifically designated for food. There are a total of 16 spots to select from on Central, Beach and Ocean Avenues.

Once you have determined your vendor type, you can select the section and space number you want. For example, if you are Jewelry Crafter (gold lined boxes) and you want to be in Section A, you would choose one of the gold lined boxes in that section. There are a total of 4 gold lined boxes to choose from in Section A.
