OGCMA Regulations

• This is not a drop off program. Parents are not permitted to leave the property while their child is in attendance.

• Children 5-7 must be dropped off and promptly picked up by an adult.

• Parents are responsible to know where their child is at all times.

• At least one class registration is required for family attendance.

Class Descriptions

Children will be grouped in classes based on their age on 2/1/24. Please plan accordingly.

Bible

$12 for the semester

Students will be led in discussions and passages throughout the Bible, through stories and other class activities.

Creative Arts - Mrs. Anna Critelli

$20 for the semester

Students will gain experience in various mediums learning about art, art history, design and crafts.

Gym -

$12 for the semester

Students will learn sportsmanship, fitness, teamwork, sharing, game skills, and try out different sports in this fun group setting.

Makeup & Identity in Christ Mrs. Miriam Nieves

$12 for the semester

Teaching our girls where their true identity rests and but makeup can be fun and natural!

Iron Sharpens Iron Pastor Bill Asay

$12 for the semester

Pastor Bill, an Ocean Grove Eagle Scout and Pastor with the Christian and Missionary Alliance will lead "Iron Sharpens Iron." This class is a return to raising up our sons to be gentlemen, to be handy and wise. We will cover readiness skills such as tire-changing, jump starting the car,  a few knots and how to use them, age appropriate emergency management and first aid.  Social skills like greetings, encouragement, self awareness & emotional control, clear communication will be taught and practiced.  We will reinforce Biblical principles such as daily devotions and an age appropriate look at the 10 Commandments. At the end of the course the students will receive a memory book with pictures and content notes.

Financial Peace Mrs. Angelsea Urban

$12 for the semester

PLEASE NOTE: This class is for students 14 years and older who are currently working or have had or plan to have summer jobs. The student will be required to have their own laptops and will need to bring them to class and have time to work on them in between sessions. We will be taking the students through Financial Peace University for Homeschoolers. Special note: The cost is $90 per student and will need to be registered and paid for by parents ahead of the first day of classes. UPON SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION of course, EACH STUDENT will be reimbursed their $90 payment via post-awarded scholarship. This scholarship is made possible by 2 incredibly supportive homeschool families. Nursery

Age Group: 0-2

Parents can take advantage of our nursery available for nursing mothers or babies who enjoy floor play. Direct parental supervision is required.

Pre-K Mrs. Josephine Sidhu

$0 per class, registration fee only

Age Group: 3-5

Pre-school age children or 5 year olds not yet ready for structured classes can join Mrs. Jo all day for story time, welcome circle, gym, games, quiet time, crafts, and more. Classes are structured per period but childen can join 1 or all classes as able. Limited to 10 registrants.

STEM Pastor Bill Asay

$12 for the semester

Students will use cardboard, hot glue and craft supplies to teach engineering principals. Part of the MindGardens STEM Program. Don’t worry if you have taken STEM with us before, new materials and lessons are on deck for this semester!

Spanish Señora Margie Ens

Student will learn basic Spanish language, history and culture.

Families will have the opportunity to work on school work during a free period, parents can enjoy fellowship or work remotely. 

Quiet Study Hall - Grove Hall

Working parents will have the opportunity to enjoy working remotely without distractions, or parents can enjoy the quiet of Grove Hall in the Dining Room or on the Porch with a good book!

Family & Individual Counseling Services from LCSW

Students, families, and/or parents can make an appointment with our LCSW for a private counseling session on our campus during regular class periods. Discussions can be anything from family dynamics and parenting or marital challenges to student stress. Moms Small Group and devotional

$0 FREE per session

All moms are welcome to this small group! Moms will meet in the lower level of the Youth Temple by the couches and black board area. Books will be available for purchase for $15 at the first meeting. Books are not required for participation but encouraged for personal devotional time during the week. This semester we will be focusing on the topic, “Lord, Teach Us to Pray”.
