Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Not all of my items are handmade. I have a mix of both manufactured and handmade items. Can I still apply?

A: Only 100% handmade / hand-crafted items are permitted.

Q: I applied for a spot and did not receive an email stating I was accepted. What should I do?

A: Only vendors who have been accepted will receive an email. If your application was rejected or not approved you will not receive email.

Q: I am a returning crafter and have been coming for years. Do I still need to submit photos of my art / craft?

A: Yes, new and returning crafters must submit photos.

Q: I completed the application, however, I am unable to upload my photos. Can I send my photos separately?

A: No, photos must be submitted along with the application. Applications that do not have photos will be rejected.

Q: Are there reserved parking spaces or a reserved parking lot for vendors?

A: No. Ocean Grove is open parking. Vendors will need to find a parking space where available near or at a distance from where the craft show is being held or arrange to be dropped off before the event and picked up afterwards.

Q: I am a vendor who needs a vendor spot close to the bathroom. What are my options?

A: Upon acceptance to the show, you will be sent a link to our vendor space reservation system. Please refer to the map on the Craft Show vendors information page to see the location of the bathroom. (For the map please visit  www.oceangrove.org/craft-vendor) Next, in the vendor space reservation system, choose and pay for a vendor spot that is closest to the restroom facilities.

Q: I want to have my friend/colleague in the spot next to where I will be set up. What should I do?

A: You will both need to determine your respective locations, confirm both spots are available in the vendor space reservation system, then individually sign up at the same time.

Q: What if after looking at the map in the vendor space reservation system, I click on the spot I want and is not available. What are my options?

A: The location has been secured and paid for by another vendor and you will need to select another location.

Q: I usually book two (or more) vendor spaces in order to create a single large space. How do I do that in the new system?

A: The vendor space reservation system allows you to book multiple spaces and will charge appropriately during the payment stage. Please start with a vendor space appropriate to your craft type and then add an adjacent space (or spaces) without regard to color/type.

Q: Once I make my payment, how will I know my section and spot location? 

A: The vendor spot and location will be printed on your ticket. You will need to print the transaction receipt or save the email.

Q: Will you provide table(s), tent, chairs?

A: No. Vendors will need to bring their own tent, chairs and tables. TENT SPIKES & WEIGHTS (minimum of 45 pounds) are required. They will not be provided.

Q: What if I have an unexpected emergency or unforeseen circumstances occur, can I receive a refund?

A: No. There or no REFUNDS or EXCHANGES

Q: How can I be sure that a like or similar vendor will not be set up near or next to me?

A: The map has been designed to avoid like or similar vendor set up concerns. For a visual of the map please visit  www.oceangrove.org/craft-vendor.

Q: I do not use a computer. Can I submit a paper application, and if my application is approved can I pay by check?

A: Applications can only be submitted online. The only form of payment accepted is credit or debit card.

Q: Is there someone I can email or call if I have questions or trouble processing my payment.

A: Yes, you can email the craft fair coordinator at giantcraftshow@oceangrove.org
